I know, I know, a lot of you are still a bit paranoid about buying products online.. Believe me, I was too!! That is… until a few months ago. Let me tell you about the positive experience I had buying a bird cage online (and why it ended up being a good experience)…

You see, I was shopping for a new bird cage for my Macaw named Tootles. His 16 year old California Cage was 100% rusted out, and it was just plain time! Now believe me when I say I am anal & overly analytical. (My husband doesn’t know much about that!) I researched like you wouldn’t believe. The typical over-analyzer would have gotten bored and left when I was approaching about the half way point of my research. I eventually found one that was “okay” in a local shop called Birds of a Feather. I say “okay” because it wasn’t my #1 choice (by a long shot), but it was the best I could find locally..

Anyway, I bought the cage and had problems from the get go. Installation was a nightmare! It came with a big bag of random screws and instructions that were written in a language that’s not of this planet. It took me 3 hours of frustration to get the thing put together. The most frustrating part was the fact that I knew it wasn’t a “keeper” at about that 2/3 point of set-up, but I was determined to finish anyway.

Long story short, I ended up returning it to birds of a feather and bought the stainless steel bird cage I had my eye on from the beginning!

I contacted the folks at BirdExpressions.com before placing an order & they assured me that I wouldn’t experience any of the same frustrations. They also informed me that there would be ZERO restocking fees if I ended up returning the cage. Long story short, the cage was amazing and came with excellent instructions. Set up took me less than 30 minutes and Tootles is completely IN LOVE!

If you are leery about buying a parrot cage online like I was, I urge you to reconsider! I had a far better experience buying online from BirdExpressions.com than I did buying from a local shop.. Best wishes everyone and enjoy your week!
